Updates on Addicted to Sheep UK Tour
Over 180 screenings, 28 Q&As and 70 venues, from London to the Isle of Lewis we have been very busy with Addicted to Sheep. Our 85 min film has been extremely well received since the start of its UK cinema release on August 28 2015 and we couldn’t be happier.
The film received rave reviews from Top Film Critics Mark Kermode from The Observer, Brian Viner from Daily Mail and David Parkinson from Empire amongst many others. To read all reviews follow this link.
Nearly 5 months since it all started and our tour continues at cinemas and community screenings across the UK. We have had many new bookings including cinemas and village halls in Lancaster, Worcestershire, Buckinghamshire, County Durham, Derbyshire, Cumbria, Somerset, Wales, Shropshire, Herefordshire, North Yorkshire, Northumberland, Ireland and West Sussex. For more details on how to book tickets for different venues please visit our screenings page here. Please keep checking our screenings page as we do add new screenings regularly.
With many highlights on the tour, it has been a great pleasure to meet our audience and see how much they all enjoyed the film. Some members of the audience have even come to watch the film several times. One person in particular watched the film 6 times. It must be a good sign! It’s been nice to receive feedback too. Many of you have told us that you have learnt or discovered something new every time that you watched the film which feels like a real achievement for us.
In the middle of it all we also had the honour to be presented with The Farmers Weekly Farming Champion of The Year 2015 Award sponsored by National Farmers Union (NFU).
The journey continues. To see more pictures from our tour please visit our blogs on the film’s website here.
