The Hutchinsons who feature in Addicted to Sheep and Director Magali Pettier had the pleasure to be filming together one more time at the farm. But this time it was by a team from the BBC for a ‘Winter Special’ for BBC Countryfile. The Hutchinsons who spoke to Matt Baker about their passion for sheep, the challenges they face as hill farmers in the winter and their motive for letting Magali Pettier film their lives will feature in the programme in a 6 min piece on Sunday 31st January from 7.00pm. Some clips of Addicted to Sheep will also be included in the programme. Addicted to Sheep Crowdfunding Campaign

Posted on April 23rd, by admin in Our blogs. No Comments

We set out to raise £7K to complete our first indie feature-length documentary, Addicted to Sheep 2 weeks ago. With a three week campaign in mind, all from our own website to minimise admin fees, it’s been a steep learning curve, fun and frantic at times. We’re now moving into the final week and have learnt a lot! It’s about building an audience as much as raising the funds. Reaching out and raising awareness. Listening too.

There’s still time to be part of this very special film. Find out how you can be involved by visiting our donate page

Addicted to Sheep is an intimate portrait of a year in the life of a tenant farming family who live 1300 feet above sea level in Upper Teesdale. Nothing about their lives seems easy, but with passion and dedication Tom, Kay and their 3 young children (Jack, Esme and Hetty) aspire to succeed in this beautiful, but also harsh … Read More »
